Flag
Our flag will be one of two of the largest American flag monuments in the world. The flag itself will be 7,200 square feet, which is three times the size of the average U.S. home. The flag itself will weigh more than 250 pounds.
Monument
The flagpole will be 400' tall and painting will require more than 500 gallons. The pole itself is made from a repurposed steel wind turbine monopole. The combined weight for both the flag and pole is 400,000+ pounds.
Details
Each star on the flag will be nearly 3' across, and each stripe will be more than 5' high. Three flags will be rotated throughout the year to minimize wear and tear, and to ensure a flag in pristine condition is always showcased.
